About the Principals/Founders

Sanya Jackson, Co-Founder
Sanya Jackson serves dual roles as LOUU and LOUU House of Faith’s (under the direction of a Board of Directors) Director of Finances. Sanya’s primary duty is managing the financial activities of both companies with integrity, as well as ensuring that LOUU is sustaining LOUU-HOF outside of, and in addition to, grant funding and donor support. Sanya’s expertise is in accounting and management.

As of August 2013 Sanya Jackson resigned and is no longer affiliated in any capacity with LOUU and LOUU-HOF.

Priscilla Ofosu, Co-Founder, Executive Director
Priscilla Ofosu, R.D.H. serves dual roles as LOUU and LOUU House of Faith’s (under the direction a Board of Directors) Executive Director. Priscilla’s primary duty is managing the administrative operations of both companies ensuring that they are in business and government compliance, as well as ensuring that the nonprofit is operating according to the directives of the bylaws. Priscilla’s expertise is in dental hygiene and upper management operations.

For the past 17 years, Priscilla has worked in the dental field. She graduated President of her class in 2005 from Howard University with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Priscilla prides herself with giving back to the community as she volunteers, annually, with the Give Kids a Smile and MOM’s project.

Priscilla lives in Springfield, VA with her two daughters. When not working, Priscilla enjoys quality time with her family.

Dianeda Short, Co-Founder, Director of Programs
Dianeda Short serves dual roles as LOUU and LOUU House of Faith’s (under the direction of the Board of Directors) Director of Programs. Dianeda’s primary duty is spearheading the development of core programs and managing the operation of each program.
Dianeda’s expertise is in dental care. As an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, she utilizes her expertise by assisting with restoring and creating healthy smiles using modern technology. Dianeda holds a Dental Assistant Degree and X-Ray certification from Applied Career Training.

Dianeda is also a Licensed Therapeutic Foster Parent. Dianeda’spersonal and professional expertise as a foster parent is handling challenging teens that come from problematic backgrounds within the Child Protective Service system. Dianeda has a certification in Therapeutic behaviors from Child and Family Services, and is the recipient of the 2010 Foster Parent Award of the Year with Foundations First home care.
Dianeda is also an active member of Liberty House Ministries where she serves as an Ordained Minister.Her work in the community speaking with the youth group in church about oral home care is done annually. Dianeda lives in Fort Washington, MD with her beloved husband and 3 beautiful daughters. When not working, Dianeda spends quality time with her family.

Shara Thomas, Re-Founder, Director of Fianance (May 2016)
Dr. Shara Thomas began her career in the dental field in 1999 as a dental assistant. As she worked in the field, her love for helping people grew as well as her desire to explore other careers within the dental field. In 2003 she was awarded her certificate in dental hygiene from Howard University which in turn prepared her to become a registered in dental hygienist. Shara worked as a fulltime dental hygienist but continued with her education. In late 2003, she enrolled in a degree completion dental hygiene program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree, 2004. Later that year she joined the Howard University faculty as a fulltime dental hygiene instructor continuing her clinical dental hygiene practice. Dr. Thomas did not stop there. In 2008, she enrolled in Howard University’s Dental school to become a dentist. She earned her doctor of dental surgery degree in 2012. Later that year, she was accepted into a vigorous general practice residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where she earned her certificate in 2013. Since the completion of her studies, Dr. Thomas has been practicing dentistry fulltime in corporate and community dental settings. She has been committed to serving underprivileged families through providing quality oral health care and education.
